春节 2015

年夜饭
For the first time ever, our family gave up on having steamboat at home, and went to a restaurant for a pre-cooked dinner. The place served a great deal of food each serving, but it wasn't all that delicious. I guess when they only serve the same set meal to all the tables, it won't be as fresh and well-cooked.

年初一
I greeted my grandparents and parents early in the morning, and then hung out with different groups of my cousins throughout the day while doing visiting.

These are my maternal first cousins. I don't think anyone actually wants to know how many second cousins I have. The number increases exponentially each time we zoom out the family tree. Especially when my paternal grandfather has over 20 siblings.

And what do you know, I was wearing children's size again. I got this dress from Emporio Armani Junior, size for age 16. I wore children's size for 初二 and 初三 too.

They are supposed to be sunrise nails, with gradient from blue to pink, to represent the beginning of a new year, but then the blue didn't come on because my nails were too short this year. My regular biweekly nail cut came too late, just a week before CNY /:

I guess most people alr know that I don't exactly fancy all my cousins, so sometimes I have to entertain myself, and of course it's drama! :D This time it's the new japanese remake of Itazura na Kiss which is still halfway into its run;

There are many shows which I give up watching halfway, but Itazura na Kiss is one of those shows I just can't seem to say no to, despite having watched multiple times of the Taiwanese and Korean versions alr. I have never watched the original japanese one from 1996, but I will if I ever find it available online.

Oh oh oh! And in this version, both the leads of the original 1996 japanese drama version cameoed as a doctor and nurse. It's like saying their dreams came true, and 17yrs after the end of their story they really fulfilled their wish of becoming a doctor and nurse in the same hospital ^_^ I absolutely love this kind of round stories. It warms my heart too much ♥

The filming techniques of this version is super yesteryear that it's kind of funny. And some scenes had very bad camera angles. I also didn't really like the fact that this version didn't include the offsite training for the tennis team, where 入江 直树 can show off his cooking skills. Although the storyline of certain parts is much closer to the original manga version. But it is still amazing anyhow. And 古川 雄辉 is cuter than 郑元畅 and 金贤重 =^.^=

Itazura na Kiss never fails.
