Zhangjiajie 2016

Standing among mountains millions of years old really makes me feel small in the face of the great force of nature. Zhangjiajie was simply beautiful, but maybe a little too commercialised with cable cars, buses and elevators built into the mountain paths. Honestly, I would rather walk to see the sights, but lazy me ended up relying on the buses to take me from point to point instead. I also did not like the idea of renaming the place after the Avatar movie, it really should just keep its much more meaningful name and stop capitalising on pop culture that does not last.

The scenery was really good, but I do not wish to talk more about the trip. I shall just leave it be, and hopefully one day return to this place to create even better memories.
